Pro Tips:
Use fresh sprouted beans: Fresh sprouted moth beans will give your misal a better flavor and texture. You can easily sprout moth beans at home by soaking them in water for 6-8 hours, draining the water, and leaving them in a covered container for 1-2 days.
Use homemade misal masala: Making your own misal masala by grinding together spices like coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, and red chili powder will give your misal a more authentic taste. You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less red chili powder.
Cook the misal on low heat: Slow cooking the misal on low heat will allow the flavors to blend together and make the sprouted beans tender. This will also prevent the spices from burning.
Add tamarind pulp for tangy flavor: Adding a little bit of tamarind pulp to the misal will give it a tangy flavor and balance out the spice level.
Toast the pav bread: Toasting the pav bread with butter will make it crispy and add an extra layer of flavor.
Add lemon juice for freshness: Squeezing some lemon juice over the misal will add a fresh, tangy flavor and enhance the overall taste.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and farsan: Adding fresh coriander leaves and crunchy farsan on top of the misal will add texture and flavor to the dish.
